I am sorry that I missed the first two films on Alternative Film Night, despite having already seen them. They are both great movies. I congratulate Parwich Film on the selection process and would encourage people to take the time to go to see these "alternative" films (I know, I missed the first two!).

I hope the new poll will contribute towards making the evenings the success that they deserve to be.

Again our second Alternative Film Night was very much enjoyed by the ten or so people who attended. The film, Volver, is certainly well worth seeing.

However the numbers attending were again low. What are your thoughts on this: would we be better on a different night, or was it just because it was half-term?

These Alternative Film Nights are very much an experiment, so do let us know how you would like to see them develop.
