Now here’s a conundrum…. Bill W asked me for the trophy for the next Oddfellow’s quiz which will be held shortly, and I couldn’t remember where it ended up. I know that the team I was on won it, but I don’t recall who took it home. If you have the trophy, please can you let me know? Thanks Graham.

How could you forget our historic victory! You won that coveted trophy with myself, Rick & Roger. The trophy is safe and sound at Rick’s place – I’m sure he’ll pass it on to yourself or Bill in good time for the 2010 quiz.

I may be wrong about this but Rick went off to an Oddfellows dinner about a year ago and returned with a big shiny trophy which is currently on our mantelpiece. Needless to say recollections of exactly how it got there were fuzzy anyway but he did say he and other team members had won it. He’s away at the moment but will get him to contact this years quiz organizers when he’s back over the weekend. I’m pretty sure we have it- if not, is anyone missing a large shiny silver trophy?…He’s planning to come along to this years dinner but will get it back to you well in advance.
