We’ve just ordered some heating oil to top up before Xmas. I thought I’d just pass on the information that: a) there seems to be a big differential in price between suppliers (EMO – 70p/litre incl VAT, PEAK – 65p/litre) and b) both companies said the prices were currently heading upwards rapidly. I phoned around a few suppliers, so for info: Halso (0845 3739577): 58.4p EMO (Shell) (01773 874015): 57.29p Peak (01773 302064): 58.99p These were for 500litre quantity. 1000 litres+ gets a slightly lower price.
