A515 temporary closure into Ashbourne

The A515 is closed south of the Bentley Brook going into Ashbourne from about 7pm to 5am for resurfacing.  We’d missed seeing the advance warning signs and at that stage it can be a real pain, so use the Bradbourne route to Ashbourne.  Work is scheduled to finish by Monday.  There are also traffic lights back on the [...]

Dale Road Closed

Thanks to Aud & Don for ringing this one in.  Sat 4.45pm  – The Dale Road between Parwich & A515 is closed because a tree has come down.  The police have been informed, but do let us know when the road is open.

Delays on the Alsop Road

Update On B5056 Landslip Work

Many thanks to Dave R who has provided some photos of the construction works at the B5056 landslip site as taken this Sunday. The line of piles has been connected by a concrete ground beam with a reinforced concrete retaining wall on top. It looks like progress is being made.

We have received an email at 6.30pm on Thursday that a tractor’s trailer has partially overturned near to Parwich Lees which is causing congestion and may even cause the road to be closed. Add more info in the comments section if you know more.
