Over the past few weeks sheep keep appearing on the B5056, but today Pennie B has sent a comment in. I don’t know if anyone has reported this, but it could be quite a hazzard, and not just to the sheep! Lots of sheep out on the road from Bradbourne to the main road this [...]

Please note that signs are up reporting a further planned closure of the A515 between Fenny Bentley and Sandybrook tomorrow Thursday 5th August 2010 – 6pm to 6am. We understand that a single vehicle was involved in a collision with a wall in the centre of the village last night. Our particular commiserations to the owner of the wall as she has only just got rid of the builders who had been working on the property almost continuously since the flooding and as this [...]

Another local resident has asked us to again to remind parents to talk to their children about road safety on their bikes, especially with the weather improving and half term almost upon us. One of the numerous danger spots seems to be children racing out of Parsons Croft and straight across the road behind Orchard [...]

Today we received a reminder of the dangers of traffic going too fast through our villages, most of our lanes have no pavements and limited or non-existent verges. This is particularly relates to where the road abruptly narrows between the gables of Dam Farm and Church Gates Cottage in the vicinity of the children’s Play [...]
