Thank you Helen for forwarding this update. There is usually a good sized Parwich contingent going to the Dovedale Dash, so many will be sad to hear the event is cancelled this year:

We regret that we have had to cancel the Dash this year. The Pastures where we normally park 400-500 cars is waterlogged and not getting any better. We have a king size  bed (frame only, no mattress) going spare from next week. It is pine and  could do with either painting or revarnishing in a few places.
Free to anyone who  wants to collect.  If you need the bed but are unable to collect it, give  me a call and I’m sure we can work something out.

Thank you from the Legion

Parwich Legion would like to say thank you to everyone who attended, supported and contributed to yesterday’s harvest festival. Thank you also to Andy Larkin for taking the service and to Martin Compton for providing the music.

Thank you all once more…..!
