Beautiful settings, beautiful costumes- Belle is a British period drama. The film is about illegitimate mixed-race Dido Belle, who was born in the West Indies and rose to become a society lady in England. The film centres on Dido’s relationship as a young woman with an aspiring lawyer who contributes to the abolition of slavery in Britain.
