Local items are a little thin in this week’s Ashbourne News Telegraph, not even mention of Tom or Debbie:
- p.6 Planning application to move the garage and build an extension at Catlow in Parwich.
- p.7 Feature with photograph on last week’s Indian music presentation in Parwich School.
- p.31 Gardener’s Cottage is indicated on Bagshaw’s advert as under offer, so the Parwich property market has not completely stalled.
Here are some other items of possible interest:
- p.2 Ashbourne has some of the lowest crime figures
- p.2 Sir Richard FitzHerbert reports seeing the ‘beast of Derbyshire Dales’. (Click here to see article.)
- p.3 Make your will and raise money for charity. 60% of the population have no will, but November is ‘Will Month’ and Ashbourne solicitors Flint Bishop are participating as part of the nation ‘Will Aid‘ scheme.
- p.8 Sir Richard , again, is to appear on ‘Golden Balls’ at 5pm on Friday on ITV 1, and on ‘The Weakest Link’ at 5-15pm on Thursday 6th November on BBC 1.
- p.9 Proposals for a new business centre for the creative arts in Ashbourne move forward.
As always let us know what we have missed.
