Bus Service

These pages were last updated on 28th June 2017

Please note that no bus serves Parwich on a Sunday

Other than the fortnightly 449 (see below), there is no timetabled bus service for Parwich.  However Parwich is now served by Derbyshire Connect.

Derbyshire Connect is operated by Ashbourne Community Transport a registered charity providing door-to-door transport for rurally isolate, elderly and disabled people in the Derbyshire Dales and East Staffordshire area. Ashbourne CT also offers services to groups and the wider Community, including customised trips and excursions. Contact 01335-300670 to book.
Derbyshire Connect is a Demand Responsive service providing individual and customised transport for everyone, young and old alike, residents or visitors, for any type of journey, be it health, shopping or fun related. It operates 7am to 6pm Mondays to Fridays and 8am to 6pm Saturdays. It can be used to visit friends, go out to lunch, walking, after school activities and so much more. The service doesn’t run to a set schedule but at a time that suits your needs, though Uttoxeter and also to Leek and Buxton using our sister service Moorlands Connect.
To use this service, you need to book your journey, which you can do up to 7 days in advance, on 01335-342951 or by email: bookings@derbyshireconnect.org.uk but this does require minimum 24-hour notice.
