Regular Programme

We hold monthly film showings and family film evenings which are advertised here on parwich.org, however if you want us to directly email you details of upcoming films contact us on martin@orchidserve.com. Also let us know about any films you might want to see in Parwich.

One-off Film Showings

We can show one-off films  for special occasions or as part of village events, such as Amazing Grace during the Church and History Society’s Slavery Season several year’s ago or the locally produced film on the Odd Fellows at last year’s St George’s Day celebrations.  So let us know if you have any ideas.

If a film is being used for fund-raising and it is required that the film is named in the general publicity, specific arrangements need to be made for that film outside our normal license arrangements which has a cost that may vary from film to film.

Also if possible members of the parwich film team can support other groups to use the projector equipment, either by training in advance or helping out during your event.  (You will need to contact us to discus what is possible during our temporary stay at St Peter’s, Parwich.)

Old 9mm film request

If you have any old cine film or old video of Alsop, Ballidon, Parwich or Pikehall we would love to hear from you. We are trying to find out what exists and, if not done already, get it transferred to DVD, so we can show some as part of our film nights.
