During the evening of Wednesday 10th December 2008 someone stole a farm gate from a field entrance on the edge of Parwich. The gate had been fitted so it could not be simply lifted off its hinges like many. The thieves would have needed a hammer or tools and abit of time to remove it and then take it away.
As you leave Parwich towards Ballidon, you get to the sharp right hand bend/triangle, with a lane off to the left. If you turn left, towards Pikehall, the gate was the first on the left.
If anyone saw any persons or vehicles in suspicious circumstances, at that location, on that evening (in particular between 8.30 – 9.45 pm), can they please contact me on 0345 123 33 33.
Can people be aware that agricultural type thefts seem to be on the increase. If they see anything that is suspicious in any way please ring us at the time.
