Many hands made light work on Wednesday night at Blanche Meadow where some new faces were welcomed to help fold the latest community letter and put them into envelopes.
This boring task was helped along with coffee and lots of chatty ideas about how to raise more funds for our new Memorial Hall. The extra help was very welcome and the task took only one and a half hours instead of the usual three. The new helpers have gamely offered to help distribute the letters around the village – one way to help walk off those Christmas mince pies!
If there is anyone living in Ballidon or Pikehall who would deliver letters in their area that would be a great help. Please phone Patti Beasley on 390206 if you would like to help the New Build in any way at all.
