The Church Fete tomorrow will be a super fun event, with lots of activities, games, stalls and teas happening throughout the afternoon. Of course one of the ‘highlights’ will be the infamous famous A52’s who have just flown in from a gig in Mexico and will be rounding off their tour, tomorrow, on The Green at Parwich.
Apart from a chance for us all to have a super day tomorrow, there is a serious theme behind the fete. Our Church needs urgent repairs and over £20,000 is required to safely maintain this building. It really doesn’t matter whether or not you are a churchgoer, none of us would like to see the closure of one of the centre pieces of our community – so come along and enjoy Sunday’s events.
If you have any bric-a-brac/second hand goods please either bring them to:
Today – To Ben’s, 1 Croft Avenue
Sunday from 1.30pm – The Green
Sunday morning – if dry – leave them on Sunday in tidy pile near the beech tree on The Green
Things already donated – quality rugs, books, bookcase, 3 Edwardian chairs (a restoration project), lampshades (including new M&S ones), ocassional lamps, tools etc.
All cakes and home-made produce can be taken today to Andrew & Rachel’s, Church Farm, Creamery Lane, brought to Church in the morning or to the Cake Stall in the afternoon.
