Aplogies that The Stunner post is a day late, but other events took over. However, having just popped down to our shop and picked up the News Telegraph, I can report that Parwich (as far as I can see) doesn’t feature very prominantly in this week’s paper. p20 & p21 – Ashbourne’s new Mayor, Caroline Cooper, was born & brought up in Parwich before moving to Ashbourne 40 years ago.
p1 &2 – Our MP, Patrick McLoughlin, the Tory chief whip, faces the wrath of voters as he joins the ever growing list of MP’s with expenses claims – but he has ruled out paying any money back himself because ‘the rule book said it was okay’!
