A friend of mine emailed me to say that her son and girlfriend are staying in Ashbourne next week and looking for somewhere nice to go out for dinner that’s not too pricey. Any recommendations? Lynne on 474.

Parwichs very own Richard and Jo-anne at The Horns take some beating on both counts – highly recommended.
We had lunch there recently, they’d just changed the menu and it was great (not that it wasn’t before!) – I definitely recommend it, as well as fab food at good prices the staff and atmosphere are really friendly. In fact I am trying very hard to get an opportunity to go again soon!
