- p. 4 £90,000 grants could make village hall dream a reality is an article on the recent grants towards the Memorial Hall redevelopment project, including the Peak Park Sustainable Development Grant, that mean we are now well within £100,000 of reaching our £868,000 target. One of the photos taken in the pub is in the paper and another can be seen on the paper’s website.
- p. 11 An Alsop barn burst into flames on Crosslow Lane last Friday as the high temperatures caused the hay stored there to ignite. Firefighters from Ashbourne and Buxton attended.
