Local artist Lewis Noble is running a Summer School based at his studio in Parwich during August. This will run for two weeks Mon-Fri 17-21 Aug and 24-28. You can attend for either week or both. The sessions will provide the opportunity to work alongside a professional artist, with the aim to create finished pieces of work from initial conception through development of your ideas and working practice.
Each painter will be given a good sized space in the studio as well as practical and creative tuition. You will need to provide your own materials but Lewis will provide the space, time and motivation for you to make the most of your ideas. To make sure everyone has plenty of room to work, numbers will be very limited to a maximum of FOUR places each week.
The course is suitable for all abilities and you will receive tuition tailored for your own needs. The location makes it ideal for landscape artists but there is no pressure to use landscape as your subject. You may be about to begin a foundation or degree course in September, or you may be mid course and want to continue developing your work. You may have an exhibition to work towards and need to start building a body of work. Or you may just want to give a boost to your leisure painting and push your creativity to the next level, working alongside a group of friendly, like-minded artists in a studio environment.
Lewis is a professional painter and has exhibited his work nationally for many years. He has recently completed a year long project with Chatsworth House. He has been running private painting courses for the past five years. Each week-long course costs £350 and you can attend either course or both. Email for booking lewis@nobleart.co.uk
