So far I have failed to find this week any direct reference to Alsop-en-le-Dale, Ballidon, Parwich or Pikehall, not even mention of the Parwich Panoramic Five, perhaps it will be in next week’s.

- p.2 Mobile speed cameras will be in the area this week (Mon 10th to Sun 16th August) as part of a campaign to cut speeding and encourage road safety, including the A515 Ashbourne to Buxton road.

- p.7 Dovedale Sheep Trial on Tuesday 18th Aug from 1pm and Wednesday 19th from 7am at Blore Pastures, Ilam.

- p.23-27 Feature advertising Ashbourne on Saturday at the Polo Ground, Osmaston.
- p.46 Biggin currently stand 9th in the Summer Football League, but they have several games in hand.
