Just to let you know that the Marshalls have inspected the church floor today, and cordoned off part of the south side of the aisle. The joists and bearers have crumbled through woodworm attack, and the floor is unsupported!
They plan to replace about half the south side floor next week, in time for the September weddings. The church will have to be closed for a day or so, when they spray the woodworm chemicals.
