- p.1 & 4 Parwich born Lionel Webster, the well respected Ashbourne jeweller, died last week, the Police are waiting for the post-mortem results, but two people from Staffordshire were arrested.
- p.7 Question time for Derbyshire Dales District Council, who are holding series of Area Community Forums to enable residents to have their say (see their website for more details) the nearest is in Wirksworth on 23rd November.
- p.7 Peak Park Authority are engaging in a public consultation on the policies underlying the planning decisions (see their website for more details).
