p.1 The Sommerfield Store in Ashbourne is to be taken over by Waitrose, saving the existing jobs and hopefully creating more new jobs.
p. 3 Lionel Webster’s jewellery shop is to be open for one day from 10pm to 4pm this Saturday for customers to collect jewellery and watches they had in for repair or sale.

With Parwich Church also participating in the scheme, this is part of the annual Operation Christmas Child run by Samaritan’s Purse International.
