Sadly will not be able to make the forthcoming AGM – so would like to put here what I would have said at the meeting…
– I think the building is extraordinary
– Really looking forward to future functions in the hall – (and hoping to set up a day for children’s resuscitation this summer, so let me know those who are interested)
– Thank you so much to all those people involved in getting this hall up and out of the ground – to the YEARS OF WORK from those behind the project, to all those on the Committee, and to Lynette for her work on the original design
– and of course thank you to all those villagers inconvenienced by the building work, and by all the lorries back and forth through the village.
– ——-and finally thank you to all those who are going to take on for us the work of running the hall in the future.
An amazing achievement, thank you all so much
