With wonderful weather and a superb Wakes Week, the Blog has hit an all time high. Yesterday there were 2032 viewings on the site – our highest ever in one day – with the photos, particularly about the Hill Race, proving the most popular. This week we will also reach another high with 400,000 viewings since we began, 3063 posts put on by the Blog Team and 3010 comments.

But where is Roberto Buntingo? Was he just too fast in the Hill Race to be photographed??
Mr Buntingo chose to tunnel his way under Parwich Hill and hop the long way back. He had showered and eaten a 5 course meal by the time Mr Mannion reached the finish line.
Mr Buntingo is an inspiration to us all. – I was unaware of both his burrowing and hopping ability. The 5 course meal however, is unsurprising.
…and who can forget his historic first place at The World Showering Championships in Davos. It was the quadruple underarm scrub that clinched it.

Robert[o] was unable to make it to the wakes sports as he is busy trying to produce a British version of the hit TV series Ice Road Truckers.Strangely without much success.It can be quite perilous,last week I crossed a big river[called the Thames]and got held up and robbed of £3.90 on the other side!Pretty hairy or what.But isurvived and as long as the pasta doesnt run out I can continue,not quite as exiting as the US version,but who knowswhat might happen…..PS still cycling when poss
Oh Roberto…. we have missed your exploits. The Buntingo Fan club has been eagerly awaiting reports of your fantastical feats. Perhaps you can give a macho photo of you in charge of your Big Beastie Truck? Then we can log on for a quick fix until your next triumphant success. How about ‘How many spaghetti strands you can suck up in one minute?
