What a great service, I don’t think that I have ever laughed so much in church. At one point Ben was almost crying with laughter at some of the stories behind the hymns. Every hymn that was chosen was uplifting and was sung with gusto. Thanks to Andy for organising such an enjoyable service.
I couldn’t agree more Jane. People were touchingly open and humorous about some of the most poignant moments of their lives and it was a privilege to be sharing them. I wonder if there was any significance in those who had already planned their funerals?
Thanks Andy for organising it – it really was ‘Songs of Praise!’
