We understand that Dam Side Field will open at 7pm on the Alsop Road when the bonfire will be lit and that the fireworks will commence at 7.30pm.

Gosh this must have gone on late! – pity it wasn’t sooner, there seemed to be confusion about the timings – we didn’t go in the end, as we weren’t sure what time it started, and I know there were others who had misunderstood the timing and tramped around with several children in tow.
Even the “whats on where” weekly post had blank spaces for when and where…….
Perhaps details could be posted earlier next year?
