We want to offer our thanks to the Bluebell Inn for donating the first prize in the Parwich Strongman Raffle.
We do have a vested interest in that we won the prize and ate it last night!
We were very favourably impressed: pub staples, but well produced: local steak, lamb, sausage, chicken etc. A particularly nice touch was the surf and turf: our onion rings turned out to be calamari, even though these aren’t on the menu (caused some hilarity in the kitchen). The wine list has had some thought put into it too. All the staff at the inn were friendly and helpful, so well done all round.
Never eaten there before, but we’ll go back.
