I just wanted to say that all the volunteers from the Cancer Research shop in Ashbourne had their annual Christmas meal at The Horns this evening and it was fantastic!
I don’t go out to eat very often, and hadn’t been to the Horns before. It is so clean and inviting inside, and we had a wonderful welcome from Callum and staff. The tables were set nicely and included crackers that were not horrible and cheap but really nice!
The food was delicious. On our table people had: pate, soup, prawns and mushrooms – all of which were delicious, especially the pate. The main courses included: pork, beef, turkey and mushroom lasagne – they were really delicious, the veggies cooked perfectly (the sprouts were the best I’ve ever had!); finally the desserts were scrummy. The portion sizes were just right. Most amazing was the price – just £14.99 which included coffee!
So hats off and Happy Christmas to The Horns – well done!
