Police are appealing for information after two local fuel thefts:

Between 2pm on Saturday 23rd February and 4.50am on Monday 25th February, diesel has been stolen from a lorry in the compound of business premises in Longcliffe, Brassington. Crime number: 7955/13.

Some time between Friday 15th February and Monday 25th February, offender(s) climbed over a 5ft wall to access the grounds to a nursery in Tissington, removed the cap from the central heating oil tank, then siphoned a large quantity of oil. Crime number: 7911/13.
