Safer Neighbourhood officers are set to take to the road to host their second security marking day in Carsington.
Land Rover owners and cyclists are being encouraged to visit the team on Sunday, June 21 to further protect their property against thieves.
Between 9am and 3pm, officers will be on hand at Carsington Water, Ashbourne to security mark vehicles and bikes for free with SmartWater kits.
SmartWater is a forensic based security marking fluid that can be used on property from bikes, electrical items and jewellery to help deter criminals.
Marking items with security kits such as SmartWater can improve the chances of police returning any items if they are stolen and recovered. The team are looking to host further security marking days over the next few months.
