The Parwich Carnival and Recreational Committee are struggling to find a location for this year’s bonfire and fireworks. They would like to hold it on Thursday 5th November – if you are willing and have a piece of suitable land please contact Lucy Maddocks, (lucywigley@googlemail.com), Dennis Laycock, Karen Wigley, Sandra Chadfield or any member of the Carnival Committee.

What about holding it at the cricket pitch? We used to have a bonfire on the grass outside the scout hut where we used to live. The damage caused was then cleaned up and turfed at a later date with no lasting ill effects.
It would be great to hold it there as its a central location which is massively under utilised by the village. Use the pavillion for refreshments etc.
please let me know when a field has been found as i have alot of branches ready for bonfire. thanks
