Does anyone know if Xmas trees are being collected kerbside as usual this year? I can’t find any mention of it on the DD waste pages and normally they mention it specifically.
Lynne, When I did the Christmas Diary events I am sure I saw somewhere that Christmas trees should go out with the green garden waste bins (our next collection is Wednesday 13th Jan), but I am struggling to find where it said it again.
The Council website says it tells us what to do about recycling Christmas trees on this page http://www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk/environment-and-waste/waste-a-recycling/christmas but I am not sure it does.

OK brilliant thank you Peter – it’s weird, I always remember before there’d be specific instructions about cutting it to a certain height and I don’t seem to be able to find that this year – I might give them a call to check and if I find out that we can’t leave them in the road in the usual way, I’ll let the blog team know.
