(Personal comment: The turnout for the previous election was very low, though I am not surprised as, like the Liberal Democrat candidate, I am not convinced that an election is the best way to fill the post. Also, it is hard to draw out any local references other than the local polling station being the Memorial Hall and that the Conservative candidate lives relatively locally in the Carsington ward.
