My large expressive, colourful and dynamic landscapes and seascapes are inspired by my travels in Europe and beyond, as well as by the beauty of Derbyshire and the Staffordshire Moorlands. I work with watercolour and mixed media to create the illusion of light, water, texture.

Evie Burlinson – exhibiting in the Memorial Hall

Nature at its most beautiful and most dramatic, colours light and shadow, atmosphere, spur me on!
Lucy Burlinson – exhibiting in the Memorial Hall

Working mainly in watercolour, I am inspired by bright, free flowing colour.
Jean Wayne – exhibiting in the Memorial Hall

I have worked in various medias, mainly oil, acrylic, watercolour and felt. I enjoy them all and I am still exploring new skills.
Lynn Comley – exhibiting in the Memorial Hall

Working mainly in felt, textiles, mixed media and free motion machine embroidery. Inspired by the landscape and the changing seasons, flora and fauna.
Carolyn Green – exhibiting in the Memorial Hall

I like to work with a range of interesting, colourful and textural media to create works of art ranging from bookmarks to larger canvases.
Gill Simpson – exhibiting in the Memorial Hall

I love working in pastel and oils but mainly watercolours, which are always an exciting challenge.
Kath Bradbury – exhibiting in the Memorial Hall

Working with parchment craft, card making, and intricate 3D work. Parchment is an ancient craft using vellum, there are many different types; white work (embossing), coloured work (different mediums) and lace work using perforating tools. There are many other ways to produce this delicate art form. It is very addictive!
