Antique oak beams for sale.

We have a dozen antique oak beams that are left over from our house renovation. We believe they are around 400 years old, and were removed from a barn when it was renovated in Winster, so are presumably local in origin.

They vary in length to over 10 ft. with varying diameters of 6 to over 8 inches. If anyone knows anyone who could use them, we are looking for offers around £250 for the lot, with any buyer removing them.

Following some enquiries, we are going to launch a “classified adverts” service on this site.

If you live in Parwich, Alsop, Ballidon or Pikehall, and there is something which you’d like to sell (or buy, or swap, or even give away!), then please e-mail us at the usual address – parwich@hotmail.co.uk – and we’ll create a blog posting for you. We can also load up any accompanying photos.

Similarly, if there is a service which you’d like to provide for village residents, then please let us know. As well as letting people know via a blog posting, we can also add your details to our directory of local services.

All classifieds will be free of charge, but the service is open to village residents only.

To view all of our classified ads in one place, we are starting a new Category. You can click on it from the CATEGORIES section, on the right hand column of this page.

Your advert will be left up on the site until you ask us to remove it.
