Updated: Sunday April 13th.
Parwich is in the Ashbourne News Telegraph again this week, featuring in three articles.
Note: the text of some articles in the Ashbourne News Telegraph is reproduced on their website. To look for them, select ‘Search News’ in the left hand column of their Home Page, and type ‘Parwich’ or similar into the search box.
The first article talks about the review of Parwich Conservation Area and the Peak Park Authority’s draft appraisal document.
Less positively, the second article reports on an act of vandalism towards a car parked in Parwich last Friday night (a week ago). The pieces stresses the potential risks of tampering with any motor vehicle. It is stated that this car has been targeted by vandals previously and PC Cooper requests anyone having seen anything to contact Derbyshire Police on 08451 233333 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
Finally, there is a brief write-up of the darts match between Parwich Legion and Bradley House:
C Hampson with 10 registers, A Stevenson with a 95 finish and P Redfern had a 15 dart singles for Bradley House during their 6-3 against Parwich Legion. J Edge and J Hotchin won their singles and doubles for Parwich.

Sorry, if you have been having problems finding these articles on the Ashbourne News Telegraph’s website. The second article about vandalism can be seen by clicking this link, but I have not been able to find the article on the conservation area review.
I’ve now updated the original post to include this link.
Parwich was also mentioned in the darts report, in the sports section:
“C Hampson with 10 registers, A Stevenson with a 95 finish and P Redfern had a 15 dart singles for Bradley House during their 6-3 against Parwich Legion. J Edge and J Hotchin won their singles and doubles for Parwich.”
I’ll update the original post….
