When the heavens opened for last year’s Gardens Open Day, the “positive spin” went something like this:
“Well, it’s a good thing in a way; the true enthusiasts won’t care about getting wet, so the gardens will be less crowded and we’ll all get a better view…”
This time around, I’m guessing that we could all put up with the occasional bottle-neck in return for some halfway decent weather!
The good news is that the Met Office are predicting dry conditions for most of Sunday. As it’s always difficult to know which forecast to pick from the Met Office site (are we closer to Bakewell, Buxton or Sudbury?), here are the current snapshots from all three:

Update: OK, so the rain is holding off; now all we have to worry about is the wind!
