   Amelie was a brilliant film, charming and clever, it is the best film I have seen in several years. If you haven’t seen it, do! Also with our projector and screen the subtitles were easy to read, even from the back of the Hall.

   Numbers were perhaps disappointing (but those there had an excellent evening), was this because it was early in the season or because of it was a week night?

   If the next alternative film night (provisionally on Tuesday 28th October) is half as good you should certainly be there.
