With £45 raised since Monday, we can now reveal who lies behind our EXCITING MYSTERY DOOR. Please click on it to reveal our “Game Old Bird”, in all her feathery glory – and please take a moment to appreciate the generosity of our sponsors for this very special window: the White Peak Farm Butchery of Tissington (tel. 01335 390 300). Where better to place an order for your Christmas turkey?
Our thanks to all who donated, and our heartfelt gratitude to Parwich’s first Calendar Girl for being such a great sport. Stand by for a brand new Mystery Door tomorrow!

This picture is a work of art. Great work K.
Patti – you look fantastic!
Well done Patti. What a beautiful picture. How do you look that good without Jo-anne Jewitts help? (or have you got the book….)
Today is Tango Day in Argentina, so spare a thought for Tom as he and Camilla practice the Argentine Tango for Saturday’s semi-finals.
Quick bit of admin: as we received a couple of donations yesterday after reaching the target, we’ll be rolling them over to our next window.
We’re also planning to provide a new means of donation, that doesn’t involve PayPal or knocking on people’s doors!
Game Old Bird indeed! Patti, you are a star. You came up with a brilliant idea for the photo (and others). I know how uncomfortable you were whilst having all those birds draped over you, yet you managed to retain such allure and glamour.
Come on readers of Parwich.org, make a donation in recognition of Patti’s supreme effort!
Thank you everyone for your kind and flattering words. I must admit that it was something of an experience with a room full of photographers, stylists and directors (all Parwich folk of course) sticking birds and feathers all over my sticky out bits. So, I just lay back and thought of…..the new Parwich Memorial Hall! Everyone, please give generously to the future mystery pics, it is very daunting wondering if anyone is actually going to make a donation and hoping that no one makes an unkind comment.
Va va voom!
