Two matches were played by our Parwich darts teams on Friday night (The Sycamore and The Legion); both in the Hartington and District Darts League. The Legion came fourth in Division 1 and the Sycamore won Division 2.
The Sycamore played in the final of the Division 2 cup against the Jarvis Arms from Oncote. They won 5-4 with Milly winning the deciding game. The Sycamore team are Tim (the captain who was ill and couldn’t play), Bean, Matthew, Phil B, Joe B, Nick B and Milly. Since they won their Divison, they will be promoted into Division 1 next year where they will meet…
…the Legion, who were in the final of the Division 1 cup against Hartington Legion. That was also won 5-4 with Carsy winning the deciding game for Parwich Legion. The team put the victory down to some motivational texts sent by Hotch (captain) before the game! The team were Hotch (captain), little Hotch, Curly, Coop, Carsy, Petal, Jim F and young Gozzy.
Look out for the trophies at the Legion and Sycamore.
