This is an absolutely brilliant idea. I seem to recall that a similar talk given to our WI a few years ago was instrumental in saving the life of a member’s husband who suffered a heart attack. Unfortunately we shall be away – is there any chance of another date?
Are children welcome to come along (accompanied by an adult of course?)
If all the children brought their parents along this Saturday it would be wonderful. This is a real opportunity to find out how we could make a difference. Children will be fascinated seeing what goes on and if they were faced with a serious situation, even if they couldn’t actively help a patient, they would know how best to respond and not to panic – i.e. find an adult, call 999 etc.
So come along between 10am – 5pm – Spare 5 minutes.
