Just to let you know we have a number of volunteering opportunities available for the Y-NOT festival (31st July – 2nd August), which, as many of you know, is located practically on our door step here in Parwich!
If you are 16 or older, and would like to volunteer, please contact me by email at: debbie@vcdd.org.uk. I will take your details, pass them on to the appropriate people, who will get in touch with you. If you are aged 16-25, it is a perfect opportunity to either start on your V-50 certificate, or contribute to the volunteering hours you have already accrued.
These opportunities will be going up on the do-it website: www.do-it.org.uk shortly. (You can apply for volunteering opportunities via the do-it website – have a look, it is pretty cool!). The minimum shift for things such as litter picking (the ‘green police’) or stewarding is 4 hours, before or after which you can enjoy the music free of charge, which is a bonus!
