This is the sight of The A52s trying to locate the historic mining village of Bonsall.
The band are madly trying to remember the songs they knew so well just before Christmas. So many sherries…..
Hope they get their act together as they are to play a massive gig in the Barley Mow in Bonsall on Saturday 23rd January around 8.30pm. The pub is a brilliant place for live music with a great atmosphere. It is also world famous as the number one location for UFO-spotting….so you might get a double dose of entertainment if you come along! Turn left off the Via Gelia just before Cromford to get there. The full five-piece will be playing. Free admission!
The lads would love some local support so make a note in your diaries/ iPhones/ National Trust wall calendars!

Lewis seems to have spotted a lower trajectory comet than everyone else.
Or is he just being deliberately provotive?
See you Jimmy.
Actually we were practising our new routine – it goes “We want you, we want you, we want you for a new recruit”.
Is it a majority verdict then,…. 3 to 1?
We’re a democratic outfit…we operate a mixed voting system where band members in effect participate in two separate elections, firstly determining the items to be voted on and then secondly applying a system of proportional representation to vote on those items selected in the first vote. In short, we employ the semi-proportional system as used most famously in Japan and South Korea which is sometimes known as the Supplementary Member system. Hope that helps.
It’s comforting to know that the decision making procedure of our premier rock outfit is so carefully considered.
I have no idea what he’s talking about I just thought it would look funny! Oh and it will fuel future speculation from conspiracy theorists that John Lennon is not dead but living on the moon with Elvis, Marilyn, JFK and Michael Jackson.
Bmm, bmm, bmm, bmm,
I can solve the mystery. It is a semaphore signal in a Beatles Help! kind of way. It spells ‘CFCC’ which stands for Conspiracy Folk Combo Confederacy. Subversive or what!
Bmm, bmm, thwack, bmm, thwack, boink.
