The Ashbourne News Telegraph is again available on the counter at the Sycamore or on-line; not even any thing from our own DW. I struggled to find many mentions of our area, but here are some items that might interest our readers.
- p1 Councils have agreed to relax parking restrictions for Shrovetide Football and this year’s balls have been revealed (see also p.2)
- p3 Photo of unexpectedly early lambs at Kirk Langley. Don’t forget we here at PARWICH.ORG would welcome pictures of the first lambs or calves in our local parishes.
- p.4 Parking prices will rise in April.
- p.13 The new Robin Hood film with Russell Crowe shot in Dovedale is due to go on general release in May.
- p.38 Dominoes League: Division C the Sycamore stands in 5th place.
- p.40 Thank you to the justifiably proud parent for pointing out the article on the back page, along with photo. Congratulations to Bertie L for being part of the Terra Nova team that won two events at the IAPS North West Cross Country Championships.
As always let us know of anything we have missed.

Bertie Linnell gets a little mention on the back page……
GO BERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(I hear the head of PE is VERY good at that school!)
Well judging by the quality performances from the children at the hockey today I think she has a little to work on….
