I have some unused (albeit several years old) ink jet printer cartridges. They are going free, if (when used) you agree to pass the empty cartridges on to Parwich Primary School.

If you want any of the above please contact Peter on tel. 287 or email parwich@hotmail.co.uk, otherwise they will be sent for re-cycling. Also does anyone know about recycling old PC equipment: printers, monitor, keyboard, scanner, etc. (either very out of date or not worth repairing). Is the main recycling point at Ashbourne the best solution?

This is just one of the websites that purport to ‘do useful things’ with old PC equipment. There are several others. However, when we had an old Apple computer that we no longer needed we put it out on the gatepost at the front of the house with a ‘free to taker’ notice on it – it disappeared, to I know not who, pretty quickly!
Avril, many thanks for the link. They have an address in Nottingham, so next time I am heading that way I will give then a ring.
