There are significant delays on the Alsop Road by Swiss Cottage, near Parwich Lees. Delays can be as long as 15 minutes. So if you are in a hurry or have an appointment then it may be best to go via Bradbourne. Kerbing is being replaced and it has been suggested that work should be finished by the end of the day – but we do not have any official information. Please keep us updated.

The workmen are coming back tomorrow to tarmac up to the kerbing – and intend to be finished tomorrow. Take care in the meantime round the corner as there are cones out which means the road is even narrower than usual at this point

The work is being done near our cottage to replace the kerbing. We were told yesterday that they expected the work to take 2 days to complete – which would mean that they should be finished tonight.
Apologies for anyone caught in the delays but should be back to normal by the end of the working day – I’ll let you know if we get told any different
