Is this Church Cottage? My dad used to live there in 1922 and prior to that at Yew Tree Cottage. I have his life story which I am wading through and he mentions lots of people and places. My sister and I are coming to Derbyshire next week and if time we may pop into Parwich, although we are on a different quest tracking down relations that worked at Chatsworth on our mothers side.
This is a good website and I hope the acer grows well, My dad was going to buy me one before he died but thought living in Holmfirth it might not survive
