The Police have passed their file on the death of Lionel Webster on to the Coroner’s Court. Though arrests were previously made, the Crown Prosecution Service have decided that no prosecutions should be made. The inquest hearing will take place in the next month or so.
Lionel Webster was brought up in Parwich, and always had a friendly word for customers in his jeweller’s shop in Ashbourne Market Place.
