On Tuesday 6th July, Ashbourne police received several reports of males going door to door trying to sell goods, saying that they have just been released from prison. Two males were spoken to by officers and neither had a licence. Both bags and contents were seized and both were informed they would be reported for summons for selling door to door without the appropriate licence. Incident number: 626 of 6.7.10
We have received a report of a suspicious white long wheelbase Ford transit van with side windows and a towing bar, enter a campsite in Fenny Bentley at about 1020hrs on 6th July. The vehicle was displaying a registration number beginning N723. The driver is described as a white male, aged 45-50 years, with brown curly hair. He drove around the site and seemed to be paying particular attention to caravans on site. Incident number: 254 of 6.7.10.
