Sat 4.45pm – The Dale Road between Parwich & A515 is closed because a tree has come down. The police have been informed, but do let us know when the road is open.

I had been saying what a good job the County Council had done keeping the smaller roads repaired after the winter and the increased use because of the B5056 closure, but …
Then I went up the Dale Road last week, and tree or no tree, there are a lot of pot holes.
It doesn’t matter how carefully you drive it is now impossible to miss the pot holes – you also have to drive carefully to go over a hump in the road caused by a tree root that is pushing up the tarmac.
A few potholes around the village may be a good idea then,if it slows people down!
