Over the summer I have noticed many young people, several fathers and other adults playing football on the football pitch. Unfortunately there is only one tatty net and the other ‘goal’ is just a pile of stones. Could I suggest that perhaps some interested person might like to see if they can be provided with new nets – perhaps through the Parish Council, Wakes Committee or with a Sports Grant? It is great that our village families are so active and it would be good to encourage them.
