This morning on the B5056 a small border terrier bitch, sandy beige in colour, was found happily roaming down the middle of the road. The person who saw it was worried about the dog being hit by a lorry. The Derbyshire Dales dog warden has collected the dog and can be contacted on 01629 761 215.
